Funny, back in my fundamentalist days I would have agreed with just about everything Dawkins said in that episode, except for the parts that conflicted with what I personally believed about my own religion. How blind we are to our own faults, I suppose.

I admit the prospect of religious fundamentalists finding themselves in agreement with Dawkins I find satisfying. It’s not really a fault though, in that I think it’s human nature to identify with one’s own tribe to the exclusion of others. It’s when these prejudices interfere with the public good I get cranky. Welcome back from vacation.
